ForexForums.com Membership Levels
Hello there, I'd like to make everyone privy to the hierarchy of user levels in use here at ForexForums.com. We try to make everything fair, but would like to reward users that have been with us a long time and/or are quite active in the community.
We will get one thing straight off the bat, YOU NEVER HAVE TO PAY FOREX FORUMS FOR SPECIAL ACCESS TO ANYTHING. We make money through third party advertisements and possible (optional) sponsorship positions (not to mention we make a few trades here and there). So, making money off of our members is not our priority or even much of a concern. Any special access to any usergroup or area on this forum will be dependant on your free registration and your subsequent activity (or lackthereof) in this community.
Awaiting Email Confirmation
I get a ton of emails asking why you aren't able to post even though you signed up and clicked on the email. This is because we go over each membership one by one to weed out potential spammers. So, please be patient, you are in this usergroup until we make you a Basic User.

You must not copy and paste from other boards, forums, blogs, or websites, otherwise you'll turn a good deed into something that gets your account terminated.

To become a basic user you have to post 250? Isn't that a bit too much? There are people who like to read through the forum and not necessarily post comments so they'll never be basic users?

That's a fair question. Basic users have every right more advanced users have except the ability to post links and images in their signatures. So, if you don't post alot, getting to level 2 doesn't matter anyway.
For people who do post, I think 250 posts is quite fair. 10 posts per day times 25 days, and your promoted.

I think that the requirements of 250 posts are quite high, most people love to read to be informed.
