I hate to see so much animosity on the forums. So something needs to change here.

I still believe this thread belongs in the Forex Brokers Forum of ForexForums.com, but since this is more of an announcement of InstaForex's services, updates, progress, etc. the title has been updated which is within our rights. Like I said once before, the representatives from InstaForex clearly state they are as such so I hate to see you think you did something wrong, but Jgombos is right, this thread has become more of an announcement than a "review."

I'd have a very big problem with people making multiple nicks and lying about not having or simply neglect to mention having a relationship with the company or product they are "reviewing." This thread, to me, is not an example of that, but it is also far from a "review."

Sorry Instaforex ladies and sorry Jgombos, splitting the difference for you both.

On October 1, 2009 third persons not related to InstaForex Companies Group made unapproved mass mailing with the virus attachment supposedly from the official InstaForex support e-mail. In the e-mail the company confirms a client that his account will be credited with a bonus if he fill in the form in the attachment. But in reality the attached file is nothing but a trojan designed to steal a client's privilaged information. Below you see can how this e-mail looks like:

Customers, who have received these e-mails, became the victims of the phishing-attack organized by anonymous scammers. Using disadvantages in the SMTP, the hackers made e-mails with the fake "Mail From" field. This helped them to hide the original mailing source and make addressees believe that they received an e-mail from InstaForex Company.

InstaForex team is seriously worried about customers' safety and appeals to you follow the rules below to save your confidential data.

1. Do not provide your private information by e-mail: InstaForex never requests passwords and other account data via e-mail.
2. Do not follow suspicious links in e-mail. Visit the company's website by entering this URL http://instaforex.com in address bar of your browser.
3. Routinely check the statement of your account. In case you find any suspicious transaction immediately contact the company.
4. Check the security level of a site you visit: InstaForex client cabinet is secured by "https://" protocol.
5. Protect your computer with antivirus software.
6. Always inform the company in case of discovering a suspicious activity.

If you have neglected the safety precautions and opened the attachment from phishing e-mail nevertheless, immediately change your account's password and make a complete scanning of your computer by an antivirus program.

Changes in the rules of the contest "Real Scalping InstaForex"
InstaForex Contests and Campaigns Administration announces about the changes in the rules of "Real Scalping InstaForex" contest. According to the new rules next contest "Real Scalping" will be carried over to the next week if the amount of replenished trading accounts is not exceed 20, not 30 as it was before.

Moreover, by new rules all prizes including the first prize can not be withdrawn. However, the profit gained over the prize amount can be withdrawn without any limits. This correction caused by the preparation of new weekly contest among DEMO accounts.
