As I say, not the best example to start out with but this indicator caught my eye a while back and I always wanted to make some tests on it so here you all are.

Yea mate here check it out, I don't use it very often but I just tested it out, it works good, check out this gbp/jpy move it caught!

Sorry for the late reply, the website encountered a pretty big problem today I was trying to resolve it with our programmer for hours, I didn't even get to open my charts up today sadly.

Anyway, make sure you put the ex4 and mq4 in the C:\Program Files (x86)\FXDD - MetaTrader 4\experts\indicators Folder, it may vary based on your install or MT4 provider but the important place is the \experts\indicators

If you do have both files in that folder I'm not sure why it wouldn't work because I just tried it as well and it is working fine here.

Let us know how you make out.

I don't t think its a great standalone indicator meaning you should only use it as trend confirmation and even then I see examples of price going in the opposite direction as the Trend History indicator.

Thanks for replying i did same i posted indicators in indicator folder of mt4 but still its not working when i attach indicator too chat....it make my mt4 slow and it becomes not responding....I dont know what is problem...i tired to use this in 4 different mt4 platforms but still when i tried to attach indicator,,,,It makes my mt4 slow and nothing works in it...Please help coz i need this indicator for my strategy

I use windows 7 ...when i attach indicator to chart it just open seprate indicator window but doesnt show anything in that area...just black and stops my mt4 to work..

Jesus... it doesn't sound like its the indicator's fault really because i tried it and it doesn't cause any sort of issue like that man...

Can we have your system specs? CPU? Memory, etc? Are you on broadband internet?


From time to tome an indicator won't show up on my chart but its a comparability issue. I try to add it and nothing at all happens. There was only a few, that ive tried that did what your saying.

Thats really strange, you appear to have enough resources and definitely enough ram.

Do you have a laptop or another system you can install MT4 on and try it out?

Or you can install a different version of MT4 from a broker on a demo account like Forex.com's or FXDD's (or any broker that offers a demo) and try the indicator on a different instance of MT4.

Bro i tired three broker's platform and everytime i load indicator on chart each mt4 stops responding...I even tried on my desktop and still result was same....Can you tell me which broker you mt4 you use? Its really making me strange to coz i m confident m not making any mistake in installing indcator...its working on all of your guys mt4 but not mine LOL ...i really need that indicator as trend filter...or you people have any nice indicator like it?
