I started with £4000 and lost £2000 in a week with an EA someone promised me would double my account. That was back in 2002 and it was the last time I ever used an EA, perhaps thats why I am still in the business. Stay away from EA's, they will come back to bite you at some stage!

I was a nervous reck when I first started trading: started with $500 in the account and I thought that was pushing the limit. As an experienced trader, I now would recommend starting at 1,000 - 5,000 if you can afford it. i hearrd you need like 50k to start out with on a normal sized account, but what about a mini account, what do you guys recommend the minimum deposit be with 50:1 leverage?
