Z-Z1 LA Best Alert Next Bar-indicator

actually, the low was supposedly 6 candles ago. And these are 5 minute candles. Imagine how incocsistent this is on a 1 minute chart.

is this finally the reversal 9 candles later? Candle 1 is where the little circle first showed up and 9 candles later, it's still repainting.

I was about to say "are yuo guys trading the same pair as i am"


I admit this got me into a bad trade, but i got right out, small loss.

Then i found two good trades. I turned candlebars off and line graph on, but like i said i dont trade these "dots" by themselves. I dont even know what other indicator they repaint .


OH wait, i got a green dot just now indicating a reversal up, but it keeps dinging. S oi ssee what sniper is getting at, it is giving more false positives on live than in back test by always moving itself to reflect the current bars close, so, until the next bar the green dot is not set in stone, not cool dudeskis...

but in live it doesnt draw the dots half as much as you hear the alerts for it. Ding ding ding for 5 minutes straight lol

The dot keeps moving. Sniper I have to give this one to you man...... thanks for the warning, it really did look stellar at first like always finding the top or low. Now i know it just repaints itself to do so, not helping you very much at all. The dot must have moved 7 times on this one bar alone lower and lower... it may not even be done yet

see what i mean, but we made it to the next bar and the dot is no longer repainting so i entered a long to see if a scalp can work in that direction lets see what happens

ok im out... plus $50

just scalping using this at this point on the lowest time chart possible. im wishy washy now.

It all can be ignored until the next bar, but even then it may be drawing beneath the low of the first wave of a big move, so you cant trade it literally of course. maybe find some trend tools and make sure your going the right way ignoring the riskier ones.

I actually see more value in this as an indication to exit more than anything.

I made more pips than i lost using this tonight but it was a hair brain experience to say the least.

I am sorry David you lost pips on this but i didnt say bet the farm on it did i, im just trying it out it looked good on back tests

but trying it live is not so bad either, but i can see how it could be a better exit indicator than a trigger for an entry unless a counter trend strategy is what you like. Thats when it seems to work the most when things reverse. but i will say even though the indicator looks to repaint it does usually end up near the top or bottom of a move

In hindsight i got out way too soon. I traded that bottom dot, not this new top dot. but you can see it kept moving down and down and found a bar that was near the bottom, so i got in and made the 50 in about 3 minutes, but this is like pure scalping, not my fav thing to do

Yea but the trend is down, your buying into resistance, therefore the "dots" shouldn't be your only trigger to enter. You could have traded the crossover of the moving average you see on my chart but that's just me.

Right, I don't disagree, I said it a few times im just trying this out, and im seeing what your all saying as using this as a compliment to other systems.

Did i mention im using pivots?

Can u at least see how the dots are drawn at right times and give good results when near resitsance areas if they appear, which they dont always do im notcing...

Again, it seems like your explaining other reasons to go short there, the "Dot" just being a result of that reason, not the reason itself.

Maybe you are right... Sniper too Damn, well, does anyone have a great indicator to use, i get fooled by screenshots and looking backward at charts too easily i guess.

You need to use a combination of things I think, not just indicators, draw your own trend lines, channel trends, things like that, they work for me quite often, your dots can come along but they need some friends.
