Re: Price action.
Indicators are a necessary part of trading, price action alone is like alchemy to me. I'd avoid it.

Re: Price action.
I look at it this way, indicators can't hurt. If I saw that same pin bar set up and I happened to look at macd and it was above the zero line, I guess that could confirm the move. I think as long as you follow the trend, the only indicator you really need to trade price action is a moving average or pivots...just something that lets you know that the pin bar or inside bar is taking place at a significant level.

Re: Price action.
This was a nice move from today on gbp/usd. I got out with 50 pips but I could have made probably 200 if I had stayed in it. This was a price action trade and I kinda used fractals to confirm the uptrend. The inside bar is actually the candle to the left of the circled candle. The light blue line is the weekly fractal and the pink line is the daily fractal. Considering that the pair was trading well above both fractal levels, it was a cinch to take this trade. I used the weekly R1 level as my exit but if you look at a live chart, you will see that there was more money to be made after I got out. Another thing that confirmed the bullish sentiment is the fact that the inside bar is close to the top of the mother bar. Once the high of the mother bar was broken by the entry (circled) candle, it was a safe bet of a bullish continuation.

Re: Price action.
This shows a Nice inside bar on a daily chart. The inside bar (circled candle) was also a pin bar so that made the bearish sentiment more robust. This pair had already broken through support (dotted line) so it was an easy trade to take. I got in once the low of the inside bar was taken out. My target is indicated on the chart. That should be a nice support level based on the fractal.

Re: Price action.
moving down nicely!! 43.6 pips so far. This is why I love the longer time frames. When something starts to move, I find much more reliable. You don't have to keep your eye on your computer all friggin day.

Re: Price action.
This is what I'm looking at as far as daily charts for tomorrow. Looking to go long on eur/jpy providing we have a 10 pip break of the pin bar.
