Schaeffer, sounds good. Got stopped on the earlier trade. You can´t win every trade! Anyone that says otherwise, is lying.

This evening I will start a new thread, showing all the positions executed (not after the trade has occurred like many other so called traders). You will receive a time stamp to confirm the trade. There will also be entry, stop and target levels.

If you and other interested FF members would like the trading setups, I can do this also. The aim of this is to provide a live trading journal, from myself as a professional trader, since 2004. As a former hedge fund trader, working from 7am to sometimes 10pm, you can get to a point where there is no balance in your life. I will also touch on the psychological impact that trading has on the strongest of minds.

Win, loss or breakeven, there will be no holds barred. This will be an opportunity for people to critique, comment or ask questions about the strategy that has made me a lot of money.

Would you like to me to add anything else to the journal.

Here's something for the newer or struggling traders.
How many of you trade the sunday gap??
Tonight i picked up about 70 pips, and it's the same most weeks.
Those in the US have an advantage, as it happens 5pm, for those in the UK, it's 10 pm.
Pull up a 5 min chart at the open. You're looking for gaps at least 20-30 pips . Nature abhorrs a vacuum, and the gaps usually get filled within 1-3 hrs.
I play them half stakes, with a TP 5 pips below fri close. R/R is 1:1
i.e if you have a 30 pip gap s/l 25 pips(allowing for 5 pip margin on t/p)
Try it next week, although we are into december, with thin mkts.
I've attached the chart for eur/usd, and the gap has now filled.

Indicators lag that's the bottom line. I use price action to help me make decisions in my daily trading activity.

These days I don't put much stock on the use of indicators all they are good for is making the creators money and totally cloud the underlying importance of what price is doing.

Interest rate decisions do take precedent over price action though, just too many damn traders pay attention to them if you ask me.
