I use support and resistance and a few things such as MA's and T/L.
I've been researching and studying for about a year. I find that often i get a decent entry, but i exit too early.
A perfect example is on E/CHF last week. I entered on the 3 black crows, exited for triple pips( about 100). Today it's sitting 300 pips lower than entry.
I trade off the daily, with an eye on the weekly and monthly.
I'd be interested in swapping anaylsis if anyone's interested. Obviously market conditions at the moment are tough, but come september when the big boys roll back into town, the mkts will hopefully give some decent opportunities.

p.s i do not look at fundamentals.
Hi Yogibear, welcome to he forum, I also use candle sticks in my trading and rarely look at fundamentals. This board is littered with news articles I wish the admins would do something to cut to the meat of things better

Sweet! Just be careful with any JPY crosses. There is a reason why it's so strong against EVERYTHING right now. In all reality, the yen should be getting pounded considering what's going on over there.

Yea, I agree, I though it was weird that yen was strengthening right after the earthquake, then I read that all the Japanese investors were pulling there money out of riskier investments in favor of yen to pay for the disaster, it makes sense.

who can say. It's kinda weak when nobody else posts any trades or charts. Nothing has really formed this week but I'll post the next trade I take.

The good thing is that by using price action we can ride the volatility swings that result from global geo-political events.

Hi. I've deciced to resurrect this thread. A month on other forums has been an eye opener!
Other forums are full of ignorant traders, with huge egos.
This thread is a price action thread, so post your charts, lets have a discussion.
Hopefully, Sniper is stil around, he was basically the only contributor.I'm also looking at harmonic trading.
I post all my entries, win or lose. I've also started running a short term book, seperate from the price action trades, entries based off 1 hr. The method is based on Sam Seiden, basically supply and demand zones. Charts to follow. I will post whether it's a PA or S/d trade.
    Lets rock!

    Default Soya futures S/D trade

    Nothing too hard here.
First time back to a supply level ( i.e resistance)
    1st target, previous supply level.
    kerching!!

    Default S/D trade

    This was messy!
Price came back to the zone, then went higher,
took some profit, stop to B/E, quickly stopped out.
These are not long term trades, get in and get out, 30-40 pips profit target.
Basically R/R of at least 2;1, preferably 3:1. These are scalps.

good to see you back. I actually started a harmonic trading thread last week. You must have been on Trade2Win. Those guys over there have major egos. I mean, it's cool to have a bit of an ego, but I kept challenging this guy to post charts since he claimed to be so great and he never did. He did a lot of talking about making 51% per month but I guess it was beneath him to actually show any proof of anything. But I digress. This is a trade that I took yesterday in the afternoon. It just finished up. It's not perfect, but it had quite a few Gartley signatures.

Hey Sniper, hope you're well. Trade2win and Forex Factory were both a joke. So called gurus, with their maniacal followings, who shoot you down if you dare question anything. I swear to God, it was the blind leading the blind most of the time.
The daily charts aren't great at the moment, but getting some nice trades on the shorter timeframes.
Heres a couple of charts, shows you what i'm looking for. I watch the 1hr, then drop down to 15min to monitor price action.
The good thing is stops are small, and risk ratio is usually good.
I'll take a look at your new harmonic thread

    Cheers
