IMO, the best way to start trading forex is to open a demo with zulutrade. This is my experience path - after 3 demos I have finally manage to have a profitable live account.

you lucky one....I was up to 5 demo until I chickened off to go live....but I think was worth it in my case :- there was a lot to learn in these five months.

What signal providers do you recommend?

It is really good that you have a profitable live account. There are number of traders losing money. How long are you in forex trading?

you just try to avoid them as much as you can.
another way to protect yourself is to custom stop/loss a provider or a pair should you see that the market is reversing.

The problem with a custom stop loss for a provider, their history becomes skewed, a winning signal provider without any stop loss with a history that looks great can lose you a fortune once you try to limit him or her.

That's why I think the greatest system update that Zulu could institute would be historical data analysis that can "morphs" when you institute a stop loss and take profit for them.

They are so advanced in their platform... it wouldn't be hard to have an input field next to each signal provider

SET TAKE PROFIT_________

And the settings scan their history and remap the equity curve based on that.

I've done that same thing off line but it takes a really really long time. They have 10,000+ signal providers in the system that something automated like I suggested could really make people become as profitable as they can be.

lets me add smth though- no need to do that for alllllll the SPs...this will take a lot of time and nerves and mostly prob will not be so worth it if you do it for the top 20. It's like the normal distribution bell curve - you got the profitable and small numbered right in the high middle.

there are times that you should follow your signals to the full (with no limitations) and others that u put a custom stop/loss it all deppends on your providers -seem him 2 risky and then you should limit.

this is incorrect. Voting on SPs is done by their own users, aka if you do not follow you do not vote. and users get quite generous when the signal provider is trading well, and the opposite of course.

hell yeah, made, still on zulutrade and pipping well! Can't complain once I got the hang of these traders - my account management straighten and things got totally worth it!
