I am slowly getting tired of all those rather less intelligent remarks about what a good broker needs to have. For starters, regulation is not always good as is the case with US regulation and it does not guarantee your safety. There have been plenty of cases especially in the US where clients lost out big time despite being regulated in the US.

While having a broker who is regulated in reputable country is not bad at all, it is not the Holy Grail. I was wondering how many of you actually bothered to go and visit your brokers HQ unannounced to check it out and then arrange a face-to-face meeting?

In my opinion that is much more important than regulation, but hey that is just me. I got to meet my broker in person and after that I made my first deposit with them. It is called due diligence, but most don’t even understand how that works.

Anyone else who has met their broker in person?

I actually don't think it's really important to see the office. It's not a guarantee at all that the broker is the honest one. Now we live in the time of the huge internet corporations. When you work with company, which has a good reputation, you don't have even see its workers. Who cares, where they have these offices? Until they do what the regulators say, I don`t care about these things.

I usually contact the support with some silly questions; if they react and try to help it is enough for me. Going to the HQ without scheduling the meeting do not look like a good idea to me...

No i have never meat my broker but they are very good and every done online and very systematic so i dint fell that i need to do any meeting with my broker.

Same thing with me. I don't feel like see my broker. It's like i'm using gmail and i don't have to go to their HQ to make sure that everything is fine

I did meet my broker before I entered into business with them. All those responses of people not having the need to meet the other end shows me four things:

1. They don't trade a sizable amount of money so it does not matter
2. They are ignorant and think because your broker response to your support questions and has an online presence means they are good
3. They don't understand that forex retail business
4. They think regulation is all that matters and actually believe their money is secure

Sure, if I only deposit $1,000 then I don't need to meet the broker as you deposit nothing more than change. I have never met a serious and successful trader who did not meet their broker in person.

I never feel need to meet my broker . My concern is just to their trading terminal and my skills to trade. If I am good I can make profit in all the ways. I am satisfied with my broker. i can get guideline through live support any time . So it is not important for me how is my broker. I just see their dealings My all problems are solved online.

Since this is your point of view, I refer you to my previous post in this thread. You have no idea what can go on and you do not see their dealings. Most never bother to meet their brokers, we are all different but if you think you know what is going on then you really are misinformed.
