Brokers that let you use Micro Lots
kodyfx kodyfx is offline 12-03-2009, 00:12
Rating: (1 votes - 5.00 average)

Hello people,

Could you tell me about some Forex Broker that use Micro Lots and Mini Lots. I've determined through some research that I will most likely be better off trading Micro lots until I build up my account some more.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Truly yours,
Kody

Hey Kody, welcome to the boards. You are so polite

Some Forex Brokers that offer Micro Accounts are FXCM, Alpari, Forex4You, FXopen, and Oanda.

Great, thanks, do you know if these Micro accounts will have higher spreads or tighter restrictions that other accounts?

Not that I know of Kody, but anything is possible. Try a demo account first and see what happens I guess

Try lite: liteforex . org

It is not actually the nature of accounts but the amount or % of your equity risked per trade. The so called pro with hundreds to even millions of dollars uses less than 1%. Some uses between 1 to 3 or even 6%.

1 lot of mini account (1k) equity already put you at 10% risk per 1 lot trade . The lower your mini account the more % risked. It is really adviseable to start with micro account for the sake of practices and perfecting your strategy and showing people how good you are.

Lastly is contentment. There are people who will say I will just be content with so and so % and amount per day, only to end up over trading their account and losing more.

Broker ACM has mini lots but only for the mini account though.
The leverage is 100:1, the right amount
you should download the demo for free to try them out first

DANA is the leading full-service Introducing Broker that offers professional advise, provides range of services from market access to whole complex of solutions for successful trading on the forex market through the approved forex broker of our choice to an individual and corporate investors. The company offers client access to the world's largest trading market via multiple platforms and services, as well as managed accounts programs. DANA offers 24-hour on-line trade on the Forex market through Internet or through a phone desk.
They offer you a leverage of up to 400:1; With stocks, the maximum leverage is 2:1. But when you trade Forex with CMS Forex, you can use up to 100:1 leverage. For example, if you invest $1,000 in stocks, with 2:1 leverage you may buy up to $2,000 worth of shares. However, if you invest $1,000 margin on a foreign currency trade, at 100:1 leverage, you can control up to $100,000 in currencies. Leverage is one of the most appealing and risky factors of the forex market. Traders should note that trading using leverage may increase potential gains as well as losses on any given trade. We recommend you a leverage of 100:1.
In a demo account you are permitted to use mini and standard lots; to use micro lots you have to open a Live account and the broker has to recommend to use this micro lots for them to be activated on your platform. The bigger the number of lots the more you can gain money, but remember it is a 50 50 chance of earning and losing money.
If you use 0.1 mini lots, each pip cost $ 1.00, so if you win 10 pips you'll be gaining $10.00;
if you use standard lots, each pip cost $10.00, so if you win 10 pips you are gaining $ 100.00; with micro pips each of these cost ten cents of a dollar, so you need to do a conversion there.

You’ve probably heard of Forex brokers ripping off their clients by using various dirty tricks. Some of the most common ones are: stop hunting, requoting, widening the spread to some ridiculous number, software disconnects, lagging/fraudulent price quotes, unfilled orders, and account banning. Yes, they will politely (sometimes not so politely) tell you to bugger off if you’re consistently profitable.

Experienced traders already know the games dealing desk forex brokers play. Having said that my advice is this:. Stick to only so called “reputable” brokers. Most of brokers you know are cheaters. If you are TRUE forex trader ,I will recommend you one.Contact me at gnjn10@gmail.com
I am managing $120000 account and following those signals i earn 25-45 percent month
