Some interesting comments and feedback here. 328 votes for a 4.9/10 rating - not saying that the people are right, but it's just interesting. They can't be all that bad if they've been around since 2005, but it's not for sure.

Do you guys trade exactly with 1 broker or simultaneously with 2-3?
I was always under the impression that people that had multiple brokers and accounts were already throwing around 50K for a starting capital.

Nothing is for sure!
When you ask 10 traders about their favourite brokers chances are you get at least 8 different replies. Reason is that these are just opinions and nothing else. I started trading at eToro and loved it even though there are many traders that hate this broker. Other recommend FXOpen for beginners. While I think this is a great broker I would not recommend it to beginners. But that's just my opinion.
I definitely recommend FXCM for a beginner. They have higher spreads, but the educational content is fantastic.
They also have a good platform to learn how to do manual trading.
I use Pepperstone now, but FXCM were really good when I started. They are also regulated.

I think every brokers has their own way for catching beginners and try the demo..
hope this site can help http://www.100forexbrokers.com/fsa-regulated-brokers
It's not bad to meet up with some bad brokers when you are a newbie. you will understand how important to choose a good broker.
Pepperstone all the way.
Regulated by the Australian Securities and Investment Commission, coupled with fast, reliable execution and the lowest spreads of any broker I've seen so far. You can also gain access to naked ECN spreads via a commission based Razor account.
I do business with them personally and have been extremely satisfied with their trading conditions.
You also may want a VPN (Virtual Private Network) to maximize the speed of your order execution and give you an important edge. I use BeeksFx. Cross connected with Pepperstone's servers for an incredibly fast 0.5ms latency. This is a VPN company built specifically with traders in mind; I love them so.
Exactly. Trading is personal, and there are a lot of good brokers out there. Find the one that suits you personally, but not just the first you come accross. It took me ages to find MahiFX and they are my personal favourite for now.
But as trading is personal, then everyone will have their own favourite and their own oppinion. Two things you should consider when finding the one that suits you, is to please ensure they are well regulated, and that more often than not if they 'offer' bells and whistles then they most likely 'need' to offer bells and whistles for whatever reason. Research, validate then engage![]()
