I am not sure about this, I was reading something about getting faster feeds and how people are getting an advantage by having servers and computers on or by wall street.

I found a place that offered me a $20 windows cloud desktop located just across from NYSE and wall street in NYC, the computer is located on 75 broad street, at resellerchoice.com

I am testing this option from doing at my home computer, do you expect I will see better results? I guess for only $20 I can't go wrong I thought. Works great so far.

What's you feedback on geo location of your computer / data feeds in computerized trading, am I getting an up on everyone even just small one? Not sure about GEO location yet and if it maters.

Thanks,.

I am using this site (http://www.resellerchoice.com/cloud_hosting/Cloud_Hosting_Plans.aspx).

So you think it will help?

im sorry, i know cloud is good for hosting sites, but why for trading? so long as you have a good direct connection to your broker who itself has a direct connection to the interbank pools... am i wrong? is this something different?

I think your broker needs the faster feed, so seek out brokers that have cloud technology to process orders as well as data feeds for clients globally. I can see FXCM having different servers throughout the country some day to give us faster rates but the need for us to rent such computers, i'd need to see the reasoning for it
