FX settlement system CLS Bank said on Monday, the average number of daily foreign exchange payment instructions gained 3 pct m/m in Feb.
The average volume of payment instructions stood at 772,678 in Feb, versus 752,838 in Jan.
The average daily value however, fell to $4.41 tln in Feb, from $4.43 tln in Jan, but was up 13 pct y/y from $3.90 tln in Feb 2010.
The CLS Aggregaiton Service totaled a daily average of 136,872 instructions in feb, against 135,710 instructions in Jan.
